This yoga pose combined with traditional exercise is excellent for overall upper body strength and toning your chest and arms. This excersise and yoga pose combo is simple to do and one of the most effective ways to develop your overall fitness and get strong. If there was one exercise I was to recommend for upper body power, without weight training, this exercise and combo would be it. If you are a beginner or just getting started with your yoga practice, use the modification that is also demonstrated in the video.
