Yoga 4 Peace is excited to announce that we are now open for indoor classes Monday, September 28! We are offering the following classes per day at this time. Monday - Friday 10am and 6pm Saturday and Sunday 9:30am ... We will be adding more classes soon. In order to practice, here is some information. Please read thoroughly. ***Masks are required at all times*** We highly encourage you to reserve classes Online through MindBody Online Schedule we will allow walk-ins if there is availability. If MIndBody does not allow you to pay with Credit Card, please now that we are addressing this. We will take cash or check at the sign-in. Pre-registration will be given priority. A No Show or Late Cancel Fee may apply if you do not cancel your reservation 24 hours in advance. Follow the link below: https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/mainclass Please bring your own Yoga Mat, Blocks, Straps, and other Props needed for class, as we are no longer lending mats and props. We are selling our used props, inquire within. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow for proper screening & setup and to allow for social distancing at the check in desk. Temp checks using a touchless thermometer will be taken when entering the studio, anyone will a temp of 100 or above will not be allowed in class. Please stay home if you have a cold or cough during flu season. If you show up visibly sick, we will politely ask you to leave. As always, please turn your iWatch and Cell phones on DO NOT DISTURB. All hands-on assists will be suspended until further notice. There will be hand sanitizer located throughout the studio for your use. While you are attending Y4P, if you test positive for Covid we ask that you let us know so we can alert the teacher and students that attended the class you were in. Please know that this information will be kept private. In the event that this happens all in-studio classes will be cancelled for 1 day, for additional sanitization of the studio. The studio will be deep cleaned. We want to thank you for your cooperation during this time. Our Yoga 4 Peace Teacher Training program is designed for the Yoga/Yogini to take their Yoga to the next level both physically and spiritually. The program meets and exceeds all Yoga Alliance requirements at the 200 hour level. Our program at Yoga 4 Peace started in 2002 and is the second longest running Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in the State of Michigan. Yoga Teacher Training is a wonderful experience that will enrich your life in so many positive ways, both during and... after the training is complete. Our program is open to Yoga practitioners of ALL experience levels aspiring to learn, with no prerequisites. People come to our training from all different walks of life, and all are encouraged to use this course to begin or continue a journey of personal exploration and acceptance. Even if you don't plan on teaching professionally, the personal benefits of the program are profound. You can be assured that you will find an exciting program filled with Yoga philosophy, anatomy, and physiology while learning methods and skills above and beyond just teaching Hatha Yoga. You will be given tools to help other enjoy and enrich their own Yoga practice as you study the oldest system of personal development. Explore the history and philosophy of Yoga through various ancient teachings passed down in the Vedas and Upanishads. Learn the eight-limbed path and how it applies to the modern day Yogi/Yogini.
